We are hiring! - Development & Communications Officer
Are you a good storyteller?
The Environmental Law Foundation (ELF)’s primary purpose is to secure access to environmental justice for all. We do this through advice and information, public legal education and policy work.
A charity, for 30 years ELF has pioneered the provision of free legal advice and support to vulnerable UK communities facing a range of environmental threats, local and national. ELF enables grassroots communities to challenge poor environmental decisions and to participate effectively in environmental decision making. In doing so, through our clinical educational university network we also facilitate and empower the next generation of public interest lawyers to protect and improve our environment.
We are seeking a Development & Communications Officer to develop and maintain ELF’s professional and public membership networks, to promote ELF’s work in a variety of media, and to provide fundraising assistance. Do you have a passion for the environment and enjoy storytelling? Working with the Joint Executive Directors of ELF this is a really exciting new role for someone interested in being at the cutting edge of environmental legal community action.
ELF’s small and passionate team works remotely and the role is home-based with occasional meetings in London. It’s part-time (15 hours per week) with flexibility and salary of £25,350 FTE pro rata.
A job description and more information about the role is available here.
Please send a CV with accompanying letter to [email protected] telling us why you think you would be the ideal person for this new role.
